An interesting pair of socks to knit. Easy 4 row repeat pattern.

Started these sometime in January and finally finished them on February 12th.

Hypnosis Socks

Jaina All Snuggled Up

Jaina all warped up in her blanket. I finished the blanket in January so guess it's time I posted the photo.

Steeks Are Cut

I finished sewing and cutting the steeks and am now ready to start picking up the stitches for the bands. Think I will probably do the armholes first. I will work on that during class tonight.

My Ivy League Vest

I am currently teaching this vest pattern at my LYS. This is a Fair Isle using steeks. I have it off the needles now and am ready to cut the steeks so I can pick up the stitches for the neck and armhole bands. I will be posting more photos as I progress.

Sock Projects

I am currently working on two different pairs of socks.

This pair I'm using Dream In Color, Smooshy and the pattern is Faceted Rib Socks.

This pair of socks is from The Eclectic Sole, Socks for Adventurous Knitters, by Janel Laidman. The pattern I'm using is Hypnosis. I am using Pagewood Farms, Alyeska yarn in Crayon color. Alyeska yarn is a Merino, Cashmere blend. They are going to so nice to wear when I done.

Jaina's Baby Blanket

We have a new grand daughter born today 1:46 am. The baby blanket is for Jaina. We will be traveling to she her this Friday and I plan to have the blanket finished. I only have a couple of skeins to go and it will be done. I am using Debbie Bliss, Baby Cashmerino in a seed stitch pattern.

New Years Day 2009

What a great start to the new year. I spent the afternoon knitting with friends. These are people I meet from MLY store over the past couple of years. I am currently working on a baby blanket for our grand daughter that is due January 10th. I also have socks on my needles and a fair isle vest.
